Stop Freaking Out Over The Rates of Videographers For Your Wedding

It doesn’t help to turn “bridezilla” over the rates of Videography these days. Let me clarify these points to you one by one.

They are expensive for a reason…

Have you seen their arsenal? They invest a lot of money in the equipment that they use. For good quality photos and videos, you need very reliable brands in equipment. Good quality 4K cameras cost a lot of moolah. Plus they also invest in lights, ronin camera gimbals stabilizers, audio equipment and a lot more. Not to mention they have to pay for rights to music, rent, taxes and other stuff.

Editing takes time…

Editing your memories takes a lot of time. They need to watch their footage a number of times to review and to make a final output that will showcase the emotions, the fun and the important words that were exchanged in your wedding. Plus inputting the right music and score to make your videos cinematic and delightful to watch — that’s a lot of manhours put together for one video.

Creativity and skills…

Of course you cannot put a price to the level of creativity and skills that your videographer has. It takes experience to really come up with good quality wedding videos. It took them a lot of hours learning and studying this craft so you can’t just ignore this. Simply put, you are paying for their experience and skills. You can’t just offer videography if you don’t have the experience to show for it trust me.

Your memories are priceless…

Lastly, have you ever put a price on your memories? Weddings are once in a lifetime events. You cannot repeat what transpired during your big day. So if you want to relive that moment and show them off to your future grandkids, what better way (other than still images) but to show them snippets of real life as it happened — captured in videos, frozen in time. Now if that doesn’t help you decide on hiring a videographer, I don’t know what else will. ๐Ÿ™‚

Hoping this sheds a little light into whether you would hire that videographer for your wedding. Congratulations and best wishes!
