Let’s get this out of the way first:
My writing depends heavily on one thing…. my mood.
When I’m writing for a client, I put on my pro hat.
I do my research. I ask questions. I stick to briefs.
The goal is clear: deliver results.
But when I write for myself—especially my personal blogs—it’s a completely different ride.
I write when I feel something.
Sometimes it’s peace. Sometimes it’s chaos.
Sometimes it’s just me, staring at the ceiling, thinking about how a K-drama just gave me life advice I didn’t ask for.
And that’s how it begins.
when the heart leads the hands
On days when I feel God’s presence strongly in my life, the words come out softer.
Full of emotion. Full of heart.
Those are the days I want to write about peace, about stillness, about hope.
Because let’s face it… life is tough.
If something as simple as my words can bring calm to someone else, then I’ll write until the coffee runs out.
tv, k-dramas, and keyboard symphonies
Sometimes, inspiration hits while watching a movie.
Or a K-drama. (Let’s not pretend they’re not emotionally life-altering.)
It’s like putting on someone else’s glasses and seeing the world differently.
You feel things. You learn things. You cry over fictional characters and then…
Suddenly you’re typing at 90 words per minute, emotionally compromised but creatively alive.
My keyboard? It sounds like it’s trying to take off.
books are gold (when I actually get to read them)
Books used to be my go-to.
Now? They stare at me from the shelf like abandoned friends.
I still love them, but I don’t always have the time.
So these days, they’re more like creative bookmarks—holding space for when I need them again.
writing about… toilet bowls? yes, really.
Every now and then, my sense of humor takes over.
That’s when I write wild analogies.
One time, I compared a toilet bowl to copywriting.
Why?
Because it was funny. And it worked.
Humor, for me, is the glue.
It keeps readers reading.
It turns boring into bearable and serious into scroll-worthy.
Let’s be real—life is already heavy.
No one wants to read a post that feels like a lecture.
So I keep it light when I can. Even silly.
Because if I can make someone feel something and laugh at the same time, I’ve done my job.
so what sparks my creativity?
A little bit of emotion.
A little bit of humor.
A random K-drama.
A deep breath in prayer.
And sometimes, just life happening around me in the weirdest, most wonderful ways.
No rules. Just rhythm.
Mood-based. Heart-led.
And always—always—honest.
